God tells us that we are all children and this group is just that! Throughout the year this group meets for trips, monthly luncheons, Bible study, to participate in mission opportunities, and to just have fun! . UPCOMING EVENTS
September 12th in lieu of monthly lunch meeting we will meet for supper at 6:00pm at Nana San Restaurant in Wilkesboro. For those who are interested we will then do the Ghost Tours of Wilkesboro following supper.
September 21st Mission Meeting at church at 7:00 pm to discuss future mission trips. If you are interested in being part of a mission trip, please attend this meeting.
September 22nd we will sponsor Bingo at Britthaven at 10:00 am. Please join us to help residents play bingo.
September 29th Book Club at Rose Glen at 10:30am For those who like to read and want to discuss what you have read with others, please join us.
Krafters are meeting every other Thursday while Cynthia Sturdivant is teaching knitting/crocheting. In September we will meet the 3rd and the 17th. We are also starting work on projects for shut-ins for the holidays. Please join us as we work on these. For more information contact me at 262-6971 or email me at keenagers@charter.net. In the upcoming months, I am working on a trip to an apple orchard, a trip to the Barter Theatre for a play and in December a trip to Junaluska for a Christmas concert. Watch for information about a shoe box assembly party coming up. We will volunteer on December 8th at Samaritan's purse to help with the shoe box ministry. .
